Detailed requirements for the individual products are defined in the Company Standard ZN-ZChP-338:2010 “Inorganic salts. FESPOL®. FERROUS (II) SULPHUR”.
Applications:
The Iron(II) sulphate is mainly used in manufacture of ferrous coagulants for water purification and wastewaters treatment. It is used also for production of iron pigments. In cement industry it serves for reduction of hexavalent chromium. In agriculture it is used as a component of fertilizing mixtures and in feeds is a rich source of microelements.

Quality – Environment - Safety
In order to provide product quality, environment protection and widely understood safety there is the Integrated Management System implemented in Zakłady Chemiczne “POLICE” SA including: Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000, Environment Management System ISO 14001:2004 and Occupational Safety and Hygiene Management System PN-N 18001:2004 (compliant with the International Standard OHSAS 18001).
Moreover, in order to meet the requirements related to use of the Iron(II) sulphate as a feed addition, the Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) System has been implemented.
Current Material Safety Data Sheet compliant with the ordinance 1907/2006/WE (REACH)
Packaging, storage and transport
The Iron(II) sulphate is packed and transported in flexible containers with capacity from 500 kg to 1000 kg or in bulk (road tankers, covered car or rail transport).
The product should be stored in clean and dry storage buildings or silos.
Detailed acceptance conditions are defined in the Company Standard ZN-ZChP-338:2010 “Inorganic salts. FESPOL®. FERROUS (II) SULPHUR”
